The typography was born in August 1934 on the initiative of Franco Fruscalzo and the headquarters was chosen in Milan.
The name chosen for the company was La Veltro typography.
With the outbreak of II WW, the printing presses was forced to suspend its activity, which resumed with new enthusiasm at the end of hostilities.
In addition to producing for both publishing and commercial activities, the new company embarked on innovative publishing activities.
Based on the success of Liebig’s collectible figurines, it published on newsstands a series of figurines for a children’s encyclopedia.
The success of this initiative allowed the technological development of typography and the beginning of a new editorial adventure: the publication of railway timetables for sale in all newsstands in Italy.
Thus the Veltro Timetable was born, a biannual publication that collects information on all the railway companies operating on the national territory.
This publication is still present in Italian newsstands and has reached the milestone of 70 years of life.
In 1973 the owner of the company La Veltro, Paolo Fruscalzo, son of the founder, decided to separate the typography from the publishing company and the Lito 3 graphic arts printing company was born. that from the Milan office moved to Cologno Monzese to take advantage of more space made necessary by increasing the company’s production capacity.
In the 1980s, the owner’s two sons, Luigi and Maurizio, were placed in the company, respectively with commercial / administrative and production control duties.
With the new millennium the new generation has taken control of the company.
During the more than 80 years of the life of our typography we have successfully faced all the technological challenges of our industry and we are now able, as we were in the past, to be able to offer our customers expertise and quality ranging from publishing to manuals, from the banking sector, the insurance sector.
